Here you have 3 options how you want to rename your files.

In the New Extension box, write the extension you want
Clicking on Start button, app will change the extension. This action won't change the file content.
Change Name
Here you have few more options:
1. Add Text (at start)
This will add text at start of file names.
e.g. if your file name is newfile.txt and in the Text box, if you write one, the result will be onenewfile.txt
2. Add Text (at end)
This will add text at the end of file names.
e.g. if your file name is newfile.txt and in the Text box, if you write one, the result will be newfileone.txt
3. Remove Length (from start)
This will remove text from the start of file names.
e.g. if your file name is newfile.txt and in the Number of characters box, if you write 3, the result will be file.txt
This action won't be applied if the length of any file name is equal or less than number of characters the user want to remove.
4. Remove Length (from end)
This will remove text from the end of file names.
e.g. if your file name is newfile.txt and in the Number of characters box, if you write 3, the result will be newf.txt
5. Replace Text
This will replace text from file names. The search text is not case sensitive.
If you file name is newfilenew.txt and in the Search Text box, you write new and in the New Text box you write old, the result will be oldfileold.txt
Numeric file name
In the First Number box, write the number from which you want file name should start.
In the Name Length box, write the number you want for file name length.
If you write 1 in the First Number box and 2 in the Name Length box, it will give file names like 01, 02, 03... If total files are more than 99, this action will stop at 99 as file name is not possible in 2 digits after 99. If you select Include sub folders, for each folder it will start from 01, 02, 03 and so on.

If you keep For Extension (optional) box empty, acion will be applied on all files inside the selected folder.
If you write txt in the For Extension (optional) box, acion will be applied on all .txt files inside the selected folder.
